Diwali 2021 Celebrations with Hopkinton Community and the Schools
SACH celebrates Diwali with the community and the schools. After last year's campaign of #Hopkinton Lights Up As One , SACH decided to dial it up a notch and include the schools in our celebration. We partnered with school clubs and teachers from different schools. Celebrations at Middle School and Elmwood SACH supplied the schools with paper craft materials and ideas for creating crafts celebrating the festival of lights. SACH also arranged for sweet treats and samosas to be distributed to all school staff, educators and administrators of Elmwood school. While the teachers and staff enjoyed the treats, the students were busy learning about different Diwali traditions and had fun making paper lanterns. The Middle School had an amazing turnout and students were decorating the cafeteria for 2 days!
